Every good cook knows the secret isn't talent, it's mise en place--getting everything prepped and in its place before the first pan hits the flame.  Running a home works exactly the same way. Mise en Place is a collection of notepads for the people holding it all together: the meal plans and grocery runs, the appointments and don't-forgets, the running list in your head that never quite clocks out.  Each pad gives one more piece of the load somewhere to live--out of your mind and onto the page!  Beautiful enough to leave on display, useful enough that you'll wonder how the week ran without them.  Because when everything's in its place, you get to enjoy the cooking.  Et voilà.
